Most Frustrating Experience

On December 23 December 2025, after realizing the limitations for my recently-purchased 20-ton, horizontal log-splitter and having issues with large, heavy wood pieces; I researched my options and determined that the purchase of a larger, vertical log-splitter would be my best solution. I purchased one through Walmart (order %23 e645d796-bf6f-4283-a6d4-e39c0044acbb, Sales order %23200014052892108) I was informed by Wallemac and the selected carrier that my log splitter was delivered to me in Ohio. I informed them that I lived in Virginia. Eventually they admitted that there was an error and that I would receive my ordered (and paid-for) Log Splitter. On January 7, 2026, the log-splitter arrived in my driveway. On 11 February, 2026, after a period of back-to-back periods of snow, the weather warmed up a bit, and I began assembly of the Log-splitter. After attempting multiple time to complete assembly, I noticed the following issues: - The instruction manual is woefully inadequate; missing illustrations, providing misleading instructions, and possessing gaps in the assembly process. - I researched other similar log splitters, Internet resources, and the image on the outside of the packing crate. As a result, I appear to be missing (at the minimum) the following parts: o Keyway key for hydraulic pump o Up to 4 plugs on the reversing valve o Up to 4 angle fittings o At least 1 hydraulic hose according to the drawing o Up to 4 plugs for the reversing valve o Drawing appears to show 5 hoses (one suction and 4 pressure), but there are only 4 provided o At least 1 fitting or plug for the hydraulic ram o Both I-beam locks - There is no mounting plate or hardware for the reversing valve - Engine mounting plate holes are drilled in an improper pattern for illustrated engine mount direction o Drawing indicates that engine drive shaft should face same direction as log- splitter tongue o The only way the fittings will properly connect is with shaft pointing forward I have consulted other vertical log-splitter owners and they concur with my suspicions. I Paid almost $2,000.00 about 2 months ago for the log splitter and cannot use it even though it was finally delivered to the correct address. I respectfully request you let me know what you plan to do to resolve my dilemma. My wood pile is growing and I do not feel like I was treated as a valued customer. I either want this log splitter properly assembled or replaced within 30 days from this e-mail. If that is not possible, I want my money back.
