UltraCruz® Goat Copper Bolus • Slow-release Copper bolus for all goats • Promotes healthy development and optimal coat quality • Supports a healthy immune system • Sizes available for both adults and kids UltraCruz® Goat Copper Bolus is an excellent source of slow-release Copper, designed to provide all goats with this essential trace mineral in order to support healthy hair and proper growth, as well as aid in the prevention of Copper deficiency. UltraCruz® Goat Copper Bolus are high quality copper boluses help provide slow releasing copper for goats in deficient areas. This product is intended for use in goats only. Do not administer to sheep. Goats up to 3 months of age and weighing up to 50 lbs should receive UltraCruz® Goat Copper Bolus for kids. Goats over 3 months of age and weighing over 50 lbs should receive UltraCruz® Goat Copper Bolus for adults. To provide cattle with a supplemental source of Copper, administer UltraCruz® Cattle Copper Bolus. We offer a variety of balling guns suitable for administering UltraCruz® Goat Copper Bolus for adults, including: • Plastic Balling Gun, Small (sc-360479) • Plastic Balling Gun, Medium (sc-361438) We also offer a variety of balling guns suitable for administering UltraCruz® Goat Copper Bolus for kids, including: • Pet Piller, single plastic (sc-364206) • Plastic Balling Gun, Small (sc-360479) Please note that balling guns are sold separately. Directions for Use:
• Kids: Seek the advice of a veterinarian to ascertain copper status and the type of supplementation required for goats under consideration. Kids over 25 lbs and over 5 weeks of age: 1 capsule (2 g). A single dose typically lasts 8 months to 1 year. Administer the capsule orally with a suitable balling gun.
• Adults: Seek the advice of a veterinarian or goat husbandry specialist to ascertain copper status and the type of supplementation required for goats under consideration. Goats over 50 lbs bodyweight and over 3 months of age: 1 (4 g) capsule. A single dose typically lasts 8 months to 1 year. Administer the capsule orally with a suitable balling gun.
Recommended Use: Recommended to provide a slow release source of copper.
Storage: Store in a cool (below 85° F), dry place. Protect from sunlight.
Shipping: Ships by ground at room temperature.
Caution: Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. If animal's condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian. An examination from a veterinarian is recommended prior to using this product. Keep out of reach of children and other pets. Do not administer to breeds sensitive to copper poisoning. Do not administer to animals of unknown copper status or those supplemented with other sources of copper. Do not use in pre-ruminant animals. Do not exceed recommended dose. No withdrawal period.

I cannot say much as for product efectivity as we are going to do the boluses in a few weeks, but I've read a lot of science papers and also experiences of breeders worldwide and I am happy that such a product with slow release copper is a available, I prefer it and find it much safer than free daily served minerals

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can't make your own boluses cheaper than this, and they come packaged nicely in a very sturdy and reusable plastic tub with a screw on cap. It's rugged enough to be able to keep out in the barn and the boluses stay dry. Copper boluses help reduce the barber pole worms in my goats as I've seen when checking fecal egg counts.
