Sugar Graze II grows rapidly and its sweet succulent stalks and broad deep green leaves result in an excellent quality forage. Sugar Graze II is widely adapted to various growing conditions. Its inherent massive root system results in drought tolerance, which makes Sugar Graze II highly suitable for limited rainfall areas. This hybrid will also respond to adequate moisture with the ability to produce superior yields. In general, higher planting rates are recommended for an overall premium quality forage. For starters, the shipping was exceptionally fast! After running a few little experiments to see how quick these seeds germinate, I was very impressed. Indoors under ideal conditions they germinated in less than 5 days. Given the variability of weather in Kansas and the poor soil I was planting into, I still consistently achieved 5 to 10 days germination. I shared these with a neighbor who also got similar results. I'll buy from this seller again in a heartbeat.
