The only negative part of the transaction was processing of the core charge. The pickup employee had no idea how to handle it and when I took the old battery in to customer service, they said there was no charge on the transaction. When I got home, I was able to look at the transaction on line and there was a $10 fee under regulatory fees and taxes that sure looks like a core charge to me. I no longer have the old battery as I left it at customer service.

Battery purchases placed on dotcom (delivery and curbside) will have core fee refunded with a gift card once battery cores are returned to the store. The store can start the return in the returns tab, use the non-receipted returns flow, and scan (if available) or enter the upc: 19434621915. It would be recommended to return cores from online purchases at a store with an Auto Center, as they are more familiar with the core return process.
