The Pieta is considered one of Michelangelo's greatest works, carved from a single piece of polished and refined Carrara marble. It is currently housed in St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican City. To open this urn, a small panel is removed on the bottom of the urn by removing the include secure screws. The ashes will go inside the urn by way of this panel. It is always recommended that the cremains remain inside of a sealed bag. This will prevent any spillage should an accident occur.
