When I ordered these I was expecting a bit of a shorter "fin". I practiced with them in the pool and will soon be used in the ocean. The only odd thing is they are coated in something that is hard to wash off making your feet slippery. Tried dish soap and that removed some of the weird coating. Hopefully the salt water will remove the rest! I would purchase again if ever need another pair
