good cookbook with easy prep steps

Overall, a good cookbook, typical of America's Test Kitchen, with great attention to details. Plusses and minuses are: + not a repeat of recipes from the original Slow Cooker Revolution cookbook, its predecessor + requires no more than 15 minutes of active prep time + great pictures + I like the "why this recipe works", tips, techniques and misc. info + good instructions + keen insights into what works and what doesn't in using a slow cooker and how to address issues + even for recipes that I'm not particularly interested in, I've been able to learn from reading them (about ingredients, techniques, etc.) - some recipes seemed "force-fitted" for use in a slow-cooker, but I guess it gives people options for handling recipes in different ways
