Nice seat, takes some attention at installation.

The finish and quality of the seat is pretty good. The soft close feature works as advertised; it does not slam shut. The finish is smooth and feels comfortable to the skin. Installation is a little harder than most seats. Once you get it done, it seems pretty stable. Don't forget to tighten the tiny set screws (wrench provided) all the way down! The seat can pop out of the hinges if you don't!

8 Dec 2020 received item. DO NOT purchase. Fingers in photos point to issues. On the toilet seat where it appears the seat was "joined", it was not sanded down so there is a burr / poking feeling against the skin. Looking at the hinges, notice the uneven spacing which affects the balanced alignment on the toilet bowl. Overall, can't understand the manufacturers quality control processes. This product is flawed if care was not taken to sand down the wood or properly align the hinges to the toilet seat. Poor quality - DO NOT purchase.
