This looks new and works great. This seller is legit. The only drawback is removing and installing the blade with bowl in place. The other issue is the safety of any mixer in general. Unplug this thing before putting hands near blade.

I was hesitant to purchase this item at first because it was a refurbished item but then I saw that it was coming straight from Kitchenaid. I am so happy that I made this purchase. When it arrived we opened it up and tested it. It worked flawlessly. Buying this as a refurbished item allowed us to purchase this as a gift since we were not able to afford the new option.
