it does make your nails look healthier after any artificial nails. By the third day, the polish will start chipping by the tip of your nails, but just remove it and apply it again. I tried it by itself and i think a coat of nail hardener will work well with this if your nails are very thin. it taks 4 months for your nails to fully grow out from root to tip. im trying to grow my natural nails so i will be using this product a lot along with a nail hardener
