This compact machine is a powerhouse, boasting a 1.85-liter water reservoir and capacity to produce up to 26.5 pounds (12 kg.) of ice per day. Get started in just minutes - It takes between 7-15 minutes for the ice-making cycle, depending on the ambient temperature and water temperature. You can select one of two ice cube sizes (small and large) with the touch of a button. The stainless steel design makes the Koolatron Stainless Steel Ice Maker a great addition to any home, bar, or RV, and a must have for parties and big family gatherings.
This portable ice maker features high-efficiency, CFC-free compressor technology and boasts an easy-to-read LCD display, and removable ice bucket and scoop. With the convenient viewing window, you can see when your ice is ready and when it is time to refill the reservoir to make more ice.
Once ice cubes are formed, use the ice immediately or put the ice in your freezer to keep them frozen for later use. This ice maker is designed to make ice; it is not design for long term ice storage. The Countertop Ice Maker also features an auto clean function that helps keep the working parts clean for optimal operation.

A revalation.
I bought this ice maker to replace the one we have used for the last three years. This one has so much going for it I don't care if it lasts as long, I will replait with the same one. This model has insulation and holds more ice longer. It actually shuts off if it is full of ice or low on water.
