2 Pairs Lazy No Tie Elastic Tieless Flat Lock Laces Shoe Laces Strings for Kids Adults Running Jogging Athletic Sports

My son is a young adult in high school that is on the spectrum. He doesn't have the dexterity to tie shoes (no matter how many years his OT worked with him on it!). I don't want him laughed at for having Velcro shoes or having laces that look no tie (I am a teacher and I KNOW how cruel kids can be!). The kind with the toggle in the front are a dead giveaway and the kind with the metal ball to connect might not be too obvious and if they were magnetic I would have tried them. However, they are tiny screw together balls which are harder on the hand dexterity than tying laces!!! Then I found these!!! The laces themselves look like normal laces but are fully elastic! I loosely put them on his shoes so he can easily stretch them open and they are perfect! They are easy to set up and you can put the plastic end on (which is very secure) and tuck the rest of the lace in until you're sure they work at that length and then you can cut them when you decide (if you want). I liked that they have cool colors to use to match the shoe! I got two sets of laces (though I would prefer to chose two different colors). I will definitely buy again for his next pair of sneakers!
