Works great!

Bought this to replace a non-working compactor and it works as expected and was a snap ti install. Its sleek front blends in well to my kitchen without calling attention to itself. It is a little loud when running, again expected, so chose an appropriate time to run is needed.

Nice looking compactor, parts failure at 9 months

We like the unit. Clean look, reasonably quiet, good compression of the trash. I downgraded the unit to 4 stars because after 9 months of normal use the frame roller assembly bearings failed on the drawer slide. Just ordered new ones on the site and noticed they have been replaced by a newer version, so there maybe a design flaw in the original roller bearings??? Will have to see how the new ones hold up.

Not durable

Like all of our ge appliances this isn't durable. We have to replace the wheels/bearings after very little use.
