Starting their Second Season, still going strong - thinking of getting more!
I've had these filled with soil and outdoors for a full year at this point. I have them up on grids so I don't have to bend over as far to work with my plants, and also to try to try to minimize exposure to slugs and ants. They've survived all sorts of weather, including Hurricane Harvey. Elevating them on a decently-draining surface seems to allow the bottoms to remain intact longer than they might if in constant contact with the soil.The handles were great for setting them up, but I haven't moved them since then, but they look and feel like they're still completely intact.What I noticed with these light-tan colored bags was that, although they do keep the soil cooler than do black planters, the light color also shows the moss and algae growing towards the base more than would the black ones. The sun here is so intense that I go for "less heat" any time and if I can get more this year, I'll again select the lighter color.

Roses!
I have to pot roses that I may want to relocate later, so I'm using these large bags double thick, that is, I open a 30 gal and slip a 25 gal inside so I have a double thick pot. Using these as short term, seasonal, raised planters would be fine with the single thickness, but for semi-permanent to long term use it's probably better to double them. In any case the fit (25 in 30) is perfect and they are still such a great deal over hard planters that never come large enough. These are great.
