A little disappointed

There is nothing wrong with this and am sure it will work. I'm just disappointed. I bought this to replace one I've had for 20 years. Same part number same company. The new one is shorter, narrower, a little looser and coating applied half hazardly. They really don't make them like they used too. Disappointed.
