This mural is one of many that actually stuck to my horrible wals that have been spackled. painted, stuck with stickers, a previous mural and it stick like the last one right on top of it actually. I accidentaly bought a mural before this one which was also of good quality but the color scheme was all wrong for the boys room. i got this one and applied it right on top of the previous mural and it took me maybe 5 minutes to do with a recently replaced shoulder joint. I can't even see any air pockets. There coud be some but the colors are so bright and varied if there are wrinkles/pockets they go undetected. The thickness is just right so it doesn't tear after peeling back to correct a mistake and one injured old lady with a step ladder and a manic dog trying to help is all it takes to adhere it to your 100 year old wall.
