This tea maker is great! I had to replace an old one because the tea would leak everywhere and leave such a mess but this one goes directly under the spout so i wont have that problem anymore and it looks nice

It looks good and makes good tea. I replaced a Mr. Coffee with this because it saves space on my counter when I am not using it as the pitcher sits under the brew unit. I do not use ice in the glass pitcher. That may be why other people are cracking it, by adding ice to the hot liquid. I transfer the tea to a larger pitcher that I put into the refrigerator. The glass is thin (Similar to a coffee carafe) so I have to be careful setting it down on my granite counters. The good thing is that it just drips the tea into the pitcher through a hole so any open top pitcher will work. I bought a $1 plastic pitcher that will work well as a backup. I fill it up to the limit and it takes about 12 minutes to run a full cycle. Be aware that the entire top flips open as one so you have to pull it out from under the cabinets fully to open it as it adds another foot to the height. I wish it were split into two flaps.
