Shipped wrong item- Got leggings not shorts

They shipped the wrong item. Walmart gave me full refund without a return. I ordered shorts. I got full length biker leggings. —- Sizing on leggings said Medium. I had ordered based on the size chart. If shorts run the same, then sizing is “off.” A Medium = a Large, maybe XL. I could wear an XS based on how the pants sit. I have about 3” too big on thighs and hips. Waist is about 2” too big. Runs long in crotch. Quality of fabric and the sewing is excellent. Fabric (blue) very shiny. Could be used as Club Pants for a night out. I am 5'7” tall. These easily cover ankle bones. The material didn't seem to breathe. I had changed from jeans to these inside my home. The leggings seemed warmer than my No Boundaries jeans. Jeans are winter weight.
