Troubadour is a seedless variety that has shown to be a consistent producer of 14-17 lb. fruit that have a classic Crimson Sweet rind pattern with dark green stripes. The round to oblong fruit have firm flesh with excellent eating quality, high sugars and a deep red color. The strong vines have shown good yield potential and resistance to Anthracnose. Troubadour?s excellent quality and interior appearance creates repeat sales at roadside and farmers? markets.
You will need to purchase a pollinator for use with the seedless varieties. We highly recommend that you use Side Kick or Accomplice for this purpose, as they flower early and continuously throughout the pollination period. You will need one pollinator for every three seedless you transplant.
