A must read!

Lauren shares real life messes from her own life from for growing up a s a child to present day being a women, wife and mother. Her book Mercy in the Mess doesn't just share messes but gives hope, encouragement and ultimately leads you to Gospel truths that all of us need to hear! I appreciate Lauren's boldness for shining light into some of today's current culture messes many of us women, wives and mothers deal with. Her solution... salvation through Jesus and pointing to Gods attributes! This book is a must read for any woman! I appreciate how there is a good amount of scripture throughout the book to keep pointing back to God's word and not ourselves.

Just like chatting with a friend!

I'm reading this book with a small group of close friends and it's truly an enjoyable read. Lauren writes as if she's talking with you and as we read together I feel she's one of our group and sharing her life with us. Her real life stories make the book relatable and show how to apply scripture to our daily lives. God is here with me in my mess and He's with you in yours!

His Mercy is true!

What a beautiful story to remind us all that no matter what is happening in our life right now - He is ever present and ever true. This book is a true living example of how He reminds us He is with us in the messy and in the happy! God's words are woven throughout this book which took me to read deeper into His words. We may be a hot mess but His mercy is more. Go grab a blanket, a cup of tea and this book-you are in for a treat!
