Good for Travel Calculator

This is a nice little calculator for all the basic functions and wonderful for travel into metric-using countries, like Canada. Easy to use, good price, and gives you the conversions you need easily. I insist on taking this calculator on our travels to Canada.

Reputed brand and improved version

I own the previous version (EL-344G) which is still going strong after a decade worth of daily use except for a key or two which are losing contact. This version is vastly improved - battery is much stronger to work in lower light conditions, 3 new keys (green + yellow) are very helpful. The a-b-c key means I can punch in 6 ft 3/8 inches (or any fraction) directly. I've yet to use the rate set/recall function but the instructions (you will need a magnifying glass to read them even if you have 20-20 vision!) are clear and helpful. Also, the flip case/cover (not shown in the product photo) makes it portable and protects it well.
