Open heart surgery must have! Oh, how I wish I had seen these crop tops one year ago! If you are scheduled for an open heart procedure (where the surgery requires sawing your sternum (breast bone) right down the center, you need this crop top. It comes up high enough to cover the incision, and at the same time, not rub against it. The band is low enough to avoid the bottom end of the incision. For many of us, it takes up to a year to heal completely, so finding bras or tops that do not have elastic across the top front, tight bands across the bottom but still hold the girls in place a bit can be a challenge. If you have large breasts this will be less of an issue than it is for those who wear and A or B cup. If you cannot find this in your size try the soft nursing bras that crisscross in the front.
