Nice large work surface

My husband and I both work from home, and we bought two of these desks for our home office . They have been working great for the last two months, with daily use. They're sturdy and stable. My husband has three large monitors on his, plus a couple of keyboards and his laptop, and it holds everything nice and steady even when I accidentally kick the table leg while walking past. I love the size - I've got room for my laptop and a 32-inch monitor, and can still spread out documents when I'm editing. The cable holes are useful when you've got a bunch of electronics to plug in. We also screwed some plastic raceways (cable trays) to the underside to keep the cords up off the floor underneath as well. The desks are tall enough that I could slide a set up drawers underneath at one end.

On the first one we ordered, the holes to screw in the metal legs didn't line up with the table top. Upon exchange, the second table had similar issues, but we were able to force the screws into the table top. \n\nThe holes along the center metal beams are a little difficult to get the screws into because of the design. The center beams are tall and hollow so you need to accurately drop the screws into the hole or else they will fall into the hollow beam. We had to drop screws with tweezers and eventually were able to get them in properly.\n\nDon't forget you need a rubber mallet to pound together the metal legs! :D

Difficult to assemble but looks nice

Well made, but a huge pain to assemble. The pieces of the legs of the table are not made to fit the places they belong to and thus brute force is necessary to shape the metal legs into the table. This can cause the table to be lopsided. Once you are done you will enjoy your table, but mostly because you are happy you have finished after the overwhelming struggle it took to make.
