Pompeii 1 1/4Ct Lab Grown Solitaire Diamond Pendant Yellow Gold Necklace (G-H,VS2)

Many years ago I purchased an engagement ring from Pompeii3. I was skeptical because of the price, but went ahead with it. After getting it, I had it inspected by a friend that is a jeweler and gemologist and he assured me that the quality of the stone was as described and that I got a fantastic "steal" on the price. Fast forward to now and the wife wanted a diamond solitaire necklace. After shopping the usual retail suspects, I remembered about Pompeii3 and stumbled across this necklace. Again, I took a gamble buying it sight unseen and again, I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the quality of the piece. I took it to my same friend, this time asking him to grade it for me, and the grading came back just as described on the site. He did not know what it was advertised as. Again, the value of the piece is there. It's big, it sparkles, it made my wife very happy. One thing that I will note is that I would recommend upgrading the chain. The one that the piece comes with is extremely thin and dainty. Had I known this up front, I would have selected the upgrade option. This detail is not enough to take away stars BUT should be mentioned.
