Strap is cheaply made with low grade materials. Description says band is nylon. What I recieved looks and feels like thin paper-ish materials. Im afraid to wash my hands with it on for fear of getting it even a little damp, as the band seems like it will crack and break. Its timex so lets see how long it "takes a lickin but keeps on tickin" However I do like the band style, size and print. The watch itself is a perfect size for me its not too masculine or bulky. Its just right for me as I need a large size face to be able to see the time clearly as I have poor vision up close. If the band was made of a durable strong nylon as I was led to believe it was) then I would be very happy with this watch all together.
