The PSC (Pronation/Spring Control) device is another significant development utilizing fabrifoam®, a patented composite material that is elastomeric, open-celled and thermoplastic. Fabrifoam® breathes, helping to reduce or eliminate maceration while retaining the healing benefits of heat therapy. It has exceptional elongation and recovery properties, is very durable, will not fray and is hook & loop hook receptive, assuring secure closure. The PSC helps to align the foot/ankle in the neutral position and assist in the treatment and prevention of related injuries. Indicated in cases when Low/Dye taping method may be used, PSC has the holding power of a tape wrap, the alignment benefit of an orthotic and the lifting function of an arch support. Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists, Podiatrists and other Medical Professionals can successfully dispense or prescribe The PSC versus other prescribed, more cumbersome, more expensive supports or braces. The hook & loop closure allows for easy adjustment and secure compression/support therapy. The PSC is recommended to help in the prevention and treatment of chronic heel pain, plantar fasciitis, heel spur syndrome and shin splints. Other supports and braces do not resist Pronation during propulsion.
