Excellent scope

I purchased this to go on an AR. Mainly looking for coyote hunting and SPR range stuff (600 yards and in). The scope seems solid built. The turrets seem to be very tactile and precise when adjusting them. Adjustments were exact and on point. I didn't do a box text or anything, but I have no concerns about accuracy of the scope. As for the glass, it's on part with the Vortex Viper line, MAYBE the PST line but the new Gen II's are more clear at longer range. However, getting out to 1,000 yards is not an issue with the glass. As for the size of the scope, it's rather large for a 2.5-15. I was hoping it would be a little smaller, but it's the same size as a 5-25 power scope. My other SPR features a Nightforce SHV, which is smaller and lighter in a 3-10 power. Overall, these are excellent scopes and I don't think you can beat the warranty.

Athlon Midas HMR

Athlon scopes are exceptional scopes. I have 2 of the Midas HMR's, one BDC 600 and one AHMR MOA and couldn't be happier. The glass rivals far more expensive scopes. The 2.5 x 15 is a great power range for hunting. A little heavy, but well worth it.

Can't be beat in class

I have 2 of these now and will probably buy a third. Clarity, tracking, low light capabilities and field of view is all you can ask for in this price point. I have several hunts now with this optic and am very pleased. I own 2 NF Atacrs, 2 vortex LHTs and now 2 of these with some other optics as well. For a SFP hunting scope it's on par with the vortex LHT line IMO at a fraction of the cost. Buy with confidence
