This high-quality, durable adapter is specifically designed to seamlessly connect your Sony E-Mount camera to a wide range of LPL mount compatible lenses. Engineered with an innovative design, this adapter includes a foot with a 1/4-20 threaded hole, perfect for attaching to a tripod. This feature eliminates strain on the camera, ensuring reliable and stable performance. The support foot is also designed to natively attach to the Unified DSLR Cage, or the Unified Baseplate (FS7) or (FS5) using the vertical support hole and the Unified Lens Adapter Support Kit. To protect your camera sensor from dust when the lens is not attached, this adapter comes with an LPL Cap. This thoughtful addition enhances the longevity and performance of your camera. In our state-of-the-art factory, we set the flange focus using advanced collimation tools. This means you only need to adjust the shims if you find that your camera is out of calibration. The adapter is easily shimmable by loosening six socket cap screws around the collar area, separating the two sections, and adding color-coded shims of various thicknesses. For optimal performance, back focus should be checked using collimation tools or a wide lens focused to infinity. The adapter is also compatible with ARRI's LPL to PL Adapter, allowing an easy change from standard PL lenses to LPL lenses. Please note, the LPL Mount is passive and does not communicate lens data to the camera.
