Love, love these shorts! They are made of thick high quality material. Their drawstring waistband is the main reason I got them in a (2x) however, my normal size is (XS). Therefore, yes, they fit true to size. Yippie! They are my new favorite workout shorts! I adore their reinforced pockets and that they are on the longer side. Thus far, I have worn them indoors (walking and light jogging) on my treadmill. I also plan to wear them over leggins for hiking/trekking.
