550 XP Mark II - Eats Trees!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Husqvarna saws for years in my farm firewood operations! The 460 Rancher has been my go to saw and have cut over 1000 cords with them. I just stepped up and bought the 550 xp Mark II and hands down this saw eats trees like nothing I have ever experienced! My new favorite firewood cutter that will take my business to the next level!

550 Is A Great Saw
I purchased a 550 with 20" bar in 2017, and it is the best small saw I have ever owned. The power to weight ratio is great. It's durable, cuts well, and stays sharp as long as I avoid the dirt. These saws would be better if the bar tip had a port for grease.

Great Saw, manual and documentation needs work.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this because it offers an amazing value ofer the competitor in the US. It would be nice if the documentation explaining bars, kerf, chains, etc was a little better organized, and if the setup and tuning procedures were explained in the manual, also it is not the best tuning process, also the fuel purge bulb is...odd? I like the saw overall, but it just feels like some things are needlessly fancy or complicated for something I'm going to be running in the wilderness. Hopefully the mkiii will have even more improvements as I work at altitudes between 3k and 7k ft and am in a different site every time I go out so doing a full re-tune and not having both atmospheric and internal temp sensors to adjust itself on the fly is a bit of a bummer, but will still hopefully be faster than tuning carburetor.
