It definitely does the job of protecting the phone from klutzes like me. The case is pretty tough, too. I've probably dropped my phone about a dozen times in the first week with not a scratch on the case and the phone is still in great condition. All the openings are where they should be. I can plug in my head phones no problem and use my fingerprint reader. The only little hang up is a bit of difficulty holding the cover open for the charging port, but not enough of an issue to keep me from loving my new case.

No instructions about getting the case apart to insert the phone. Required some fiddling around and experimentation to figure that out. Case was also labelled for use on another phone model. I asked if it would in fact fit mine, and promptly received a reply to the affirmative. It did in fact work and I am very happy with the phone case.
