Taking it from the top, the torso begins with a 3 part head which can be removed easily from the body of the torso. Half of the brain can then be removed from the head, revealing a clear view of the inside of the skull. The brain half splits into two parts, with a removable cerebellum. Moving downward, the first removable parts are the rib cage and lung plates. These two parts are removed by simply unhooking the latch located at the base of the sternum, then pulling gently on each piece individually. Once the ribs are removed, the 2 part heart is revealed. The liver and organs of digestion are then accessible. The liver slides out easily, followed by the 2 part stomach. The intestines and spleen are then visible, and can be removed as one. From there, the spleen can be removed, as can the transverse portion of the colon. The front portion of the intestinal tract, once detached, reveals the caecum and pancreas. The caecum can be opened, revealing the internal structure of the intestine. The appendix is visible, as well. Beneath the GI tract organs, the bladder can also be removed. Once all of the parts have been taken out, the kidneys are also accessible. The right kidney's front section can be detached, offering a view of the internal structure. Turning the torso around reveals an open back. Beginning with the spinal cord, the nerves and arteries of the vertebral column are displayed, as are the pia, dura, and arachnoid mater. The back also offers a removable 8th thoracic vertebra, allowing for up close study of its structure.
