I really like these readers for when I'm focused on simply reading. However, if I'm multi-tasking...say surfing social media on my phone while watching TV, I find that these provide too much face/eye coverage. You can't easily peer over the top to see the television, so when I'm doing that, I use my smaller, rectangular readers. That said, these readers are very well constructed and have a nice springy feel to the hinges. Like most people who have reached the age of needing readers, I will include these in my pile of other readers that are scattered throughout the house. I'll keep my small, rectangle ones where I can easily peer over the lenses where I watch TV, and leave these in an area where I am focused solely on reading and not multi-tasking.
