Tribesigns 55" Kitchen Island with Storage, Farmhouse 5-Tier Stationary Island Table with 5 Shelves

The way the item was packed for shipping was perfect. So much packing foam! The island itself is really nice for the price. Remember you get what you pay for. So don't expect to get real solid wood. The base itself is that composite wood, but it's very thick and sturdy. The top is heavy and feels durable. It's got a satin finish. It does slide on tile, but you can always just pop the plastic floor protectors off and caulk it to the floor. I prefer being able to move so that way, I don't have to worry about the bottom warping from me mopping around it. It doesn't wobble if it's put together correctly. I also recommend loosening the screws underneath the shelves before trying to install the black reinforcement tabs that go under the shelves. I also put everything together on top of the cardboard box that it came in to avoid scratching any of the wood. Overall, it took me about 30 to 40 minutes by myself to assemble. But then again, I've been putting together furniture and even building things from scratch for over 15 years. I did get some help flipping it up and on its side so i didn't snap the wood. If you don't have an extra set of hands, just move slow and you should be able to do it just fine on your own. The directions are really easy to read, even though all of the pieces aren't labeled. It really isn't hard to differentiate between the pieces themselves.
