Excellent Ensemble Piece

I mostly have straight hair but it waves in the back. I already had a curling iron which I rarely used; so this time I wanted to try a flat iron. I really like my new Revlon ceramic. The plates, themselves, are 2" wide. You just turn it on, set the temperature and wait for the light to stop blinking. It heats in seconds. It allows me to make a quick job of my hair style and the ceramic heats evenly. My hair follicles are fine and hair volume is medium thickness. I wanted a flat iron to accommodate it with a sustaining 300 to 350 degrees. This Revlon iron easily does that. It's maximum temperature is 400 degrees. It has an automatic shut off for safety in case I leave it plugged in as well as an on and off switch. When I use it, I make sure my hair is bone dry and I don't have any product on it to melt into my hair follicles. I learned that with my curling iron- if your hair steams or sizzles- stop immediately. Although my hair is gray now, I colored it for 20 years and it really dried it out. When I stopped coloring, I decided to baby it; so whatever I do to my hair, I do carefully. I gently apply heat from the flat iron. I part my hair in the back and pull it forward and taut. I let the ceramic plates glide quickly over my hair and try not to repeat for the protection of my hair. I love the way my hair looks after its ironed and it generally stays that way all day.

Results really are fast...

My hair is wavy and fine, and the Revlon Fast Results ceramic flat iron is the first straightener that I have used that actually keeps my style all day long. The iron heats up evenly and quickly, and the heat settings allow for quick styling without doing damage to your hair. And no tugging on your hair either- the ceramic 2 inch flat iron glides smoothly without causing damage and/or breakage. The power cord is long, so no worries about how far the nearest outlet is. This feature makes it great for traveling. And the auto shut-off is super important to me- as I am always forgetting to turn my iron off. Love the long-lasting style throughout the day. You can't find a more durable, quality flat iron for the value- highly recommend!
