This is my first mechanical keyboard, having used membrane keyboards my whole life. With a membrane keyboard I typed 60 WPM with 97% accuracy, while with this keyboard I type 90WPM with 99% accuracy. The keyboard has a good weight at around two pounds. This Deco Gear product has software that allows for fully customizable lighting. You can create your own from scratch or select from a preset. The knob on the upper right allows the user to control RGB brightness and volume. The switches are Cherry MX and feel excellent. The keycaps feel stable and are of medium quality, but are easy to replace if you want to upgrade in the future. The armrest has strong magnets to attach to the keyboard but could be a little softer, as it is quite firm and made out of a cheaper foam filling. In addition, it would have been nice to have a couple media keys added. In addition, I would have preferred for each row of keys to be slightly more spaced (by about a credit card width) for people who have larger fingers. I wasn't sure what the quality what be like since this is my first time purchasing a Deco Gear product, but overall this keyboard is an excellent value for the money.
