PURE VANILLA: Voladores Vanilla pure Mexican vanilla extract is made with just 2 simple ingredients: sun-cured vanilla beans from Mexico and alcohol. Nothing else. No added sugar, corn syrup, colorings, or flavors. Each bottle includes a piece of vanilla bean. COLD EXTRACTION: We employ a cold extraction process to preserve the 250 flavor and aroma components found in real vanilla. No heat nor pressure is used to produce our extract. BOLD FLAVOR: Our Mexican vanilla extract has a warm, sweet aroma and deep, creamy, chocolate-like flavor. Its smooth quality enhances the taste of homemade desserts and adds balance to handcrafted confections. VANILLA FROM MEXICO: We work collaboratively with small-scale vanilla producers in Veracruz, Mexico, to ensure a living wage and to support viable growing practices. Our beans are hand-selected and cured in Mexico, and our extract is produced in the USA following FDA regulations to ensure premium quality. We are certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture to produce and sell vanilla extract. BIRTHPLACE OF VANILLA: Vanilla planifolia grown in the Papantla region of Mexico has been protected as a Denomination of Origin by the Mexican government since 2009. Discover the unique flavor of “Vainilla de Papantla” thanks to its optimal climate, soil, and natural growing conditions. PACKAGING: Our pure vanilla extract is packaged in an amber glass bottle to protect it from light and/or chemical leaching that can occur with transparent or plastic containers. We bubble wrap each bottle and ship it in a sturdy cardboard box to prevent breakage or leaking. QUANTITY: We follow the FDA guidelines for single-strength extract and use a ratio of 13.35 ounces of vanilla beans per gallon of 35% alcohol.
