Professionals Choice The Dare Cribbing Collar Black

This is the only cribbing collar that has worked on my guy. I wasn't sure about it when I first put it on him but it's worked wonders. He's the master of destroying literally everything (5 year old mischief maker) but somehow this has survived for 9 months so far. I do have a few notes and tricks for those that are trying to decide what's best, that make also help clarify some reviews! 1. Like all leather, this takes a minute to break in. It didn't work for the first day or so but the leather then formed to my guy's neck and BAM! It started working perfectly. 2. This is quality leather so it WILL stretch. Just keep an eye on it and punch more holes if you need to. 3. It seems alarmingly tight because of the block but believe me, it's not. For my guy at least, I thought I had it tight but he'd flip the block to the top of his neck when playing. I tightened it up more and it didn't bother him a bit - it's comfortable and doesn't rub under his neck. I can't even take it off before he falls asleep with it. 4. It'll likely rub off some of their mane at the top but I'll take that over sucking in air any day 5. Bonus: All the other horses are super envious of his accessories. He looks fab.

I've had a similar style collar for about 10 years and it works GREAT and is still in great condition after all this time. The miracle collar did nothing for my horse but this is game changing! My horse will crib if it's too loose but if fits correctly it works perfectly. I've never seen my horse crib with it on and she's a really bad ex racehorse cribber.
