Insulate your new or existing 6 in. duct pipe with this Master Flow 6 in. Dia Fiberglass Insulation Ductwork Sleeve. Enjoy consistent air temperature and reduced system condensation and noise. On new pipe installation - simply slide the sleeve over the 6 in. duct pipe as it is being installed. For existing duct pipe up to 6 in. in diameter - cut the jacket length wise (insulation is pre-cut) and wrap around the pipe.

Shorter than advertised and foil not attached
We needed 10 ft of insulation for our vertical duct. The 2 packs we bought added up to a ~1 ft shortage. Also, the fiberglass is NOT adhered to the outer foil, as in most backed batting, & gravity causes it to slide down inside the resulting continuous taped vertical 10 ft foil sleeve. We had to buy & add more material to make up for the shortage, and numerous zip tie wraps to hold it in place, which defeats the R value. NOT for vertical applications. Adhered backing would improve this product immensely, as would providing AT LEAST the advertised length.
