Scarlett blade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good blade did exactly what I needed. Area overgrown with field pines to steep for tractor and bush hog.

Highly recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A couple years ago I purchased a Husqvarna 545FR brush/forestry clearing saw. One of the best purchases I have made to maintain my 12 acres. One of these Scarlett blades was included. I have been able to compare the Scarlett blade to two other types of blades. The other blades compared to were carbide tipped and chainsaw cutter style blades. In my personal opinion the Scarlett blade in my situation performs better than the other two style blades. I have 4 acres of mixed hardwoods that is overrun with buckthorn. From small saplings to overgrown 15'+ tall trees. Obviously I'm not cutting the trees with the brush saw. Although the brush saw and Scarlett blade I have used to test its ability with 2"-3" trees, which it can cut. What I really like about the Scarlett blade is the design, material, thinness, easily sharpened. I can get a long run time with my 545FR. Keep the blade out of the dirt and I just touch it up with a file every tank full. While I'm waiting for the saw to cool down and taking a break for my self. I'm not a young man. 67 years old with both shoulders operated on and one bicep tendon unrepairable in each arm. Just to give an idea of the fact I want to do the most work in the shortest time with the least amount of effort. I like this blade so much I purchased two more of them. I'm still using the original blade believe it or not. Use properly. Maintain properly. ( With the buckthorn I'm cutting I have found it will gum up any type of blade. I just take a stiff wire brush to the Scarlett before sharpening and is good to go). I highly recommend this blade.

Worth Buying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this blade. It handles small branches and big bushes with ease. I ordered it to clean up a property that hadn't been touched in years and had it done a lot faster than expected.
