Great for getting a firm grip on boiling-hot foods

Perfect for grabbing boiling-hot items out of water. The longer handles make it easier to access items in the bottom of a large pot of boiling water. These tongs do not have a silicone coating, so they're great for getting a firm grip on boiled chicken, etc., where the silicone coating makes it more difficult to hang onto the food item.
