Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. How to cook the very best burger. Lightly season both sides of each burger with kosher salt (optional). Keep burgers refrigerated until ready to cook. Starting with a clean and oiled grill, cook burgers over high heat for 3.5 minutes or until desired temperature is reached (The USDA recommends cooking burgers to a minimum internal temperature 160 degrees F (71.1 degrees C). To keep burgers juicy, flip each burger only once half way through cooking time and do not press down on burgers while cooking. Build burgers with your favorite toppings and enjoy! If cooking burgers on the stovetop, we recommend using a cast iron skillet and following the instructions above. Keep refrigerated.
