This did NOT work to charge my Samsung A53 5G phone. It's my fault in throwing packaging away for pick up as I trusted it would work per the description. Nobody could use this cable and I couldn't return it without packaging. Therefore, it was thrown away. I had to purchase another charging cord from Walmart with a different supplier. So I would NOT recommend this cord for a Samsung A53 5G phone. Very disappointed but I learned a lesson on packaging.
