A luxurious upholstered bed with elegant simplicity achieved through the clever use of superb materials. Solid rubberwood frame in walnut finishing in a unique shape elegantly raise the slender body of the platform bed. A delicate frame and soft upholstery materials are the hallmarks of this bed. A touch of sophistication that doesn't steal the limelight but which adds definition to the bed's character is the tufting of three big buttons on the oval-shaped headboard, giving the platform bed a visual balance. Gently slanted legs that point purposefully outwards, the Penelope demonstrates seamless joinery. Two support bars attached to the back of the headboard, allowing the adjusting of height of the headboard. To provide extra leaning comfort, the headboard is foam-filled. Made in Malaysia, the Penelope platform bed requires assembly.

Perfect upgrade for tween bedroom
We bought this bed for our 11 year old son, to update his room to something more appropriate for a tween, but also because we liked the mid-century design aesthetic. The bed was delivered earlier than expected, took just over an hour to assemble, and was easy to assemble with two people. The frame feels solid and it looks really nice, as does the headboard. It actually is better quality than we expected. After a few days of sleeping on it, our son told us he loves the bed. Success!

Perfect and clean looking
Well we have a love/hate relationship with bed. I love how supportive it is, my husband says it's too supportive. Nicely engineered, leaves no questions about putting it together.
