Heavenly Essence Shampoo

I have naturally curly hair that was very thick and healthy in my 20s and 30s but many, many years of dyeing and highlighting my hair had taken its toll. In my 40s it was looking damaged and not as thick as it had been. I tried several different natural hair car lines and even more natural dyes and alternatives to dyes. My hair was still not recovering the way I hoped so I did more research and found Morocco Method. I switched to using henna and switched to Morocco Method shampoos and conditioners, the boar bristle brush, scalp massager. After 4 months I also started using the elixirs. I also started cutting my hair according to the lunar chart. I was patient, knowing I had been damaging my hair for years and it would take some time to restore my hair. My hair did go through a detox period for about a month but it was manageable. After 6 months my hair is thicker and healthier than it has been in years. I rotate the shampoos but especially love the Earth, Apple Cider Vinegar and Heavenly Essence Shampoos. I rotate the conditioners too but prefer the Pearl Essence conditioner over the Floating Lotus. I also use the Diamond Crystal Mist and the Blood of the Dragon styling gel. I also use the Zen Detoz hair mask occasionally. The hair mask was particularly useful during the detox period and seemed to help my hair and scalp with the transition to the natural products. When I started out I purchased the shampoo travel set and the conditioner travel set along with the small bag of the detox hair mask. I highly recommend starting that way and rotating through the products to get the best results!

At first my hair felt waxy and not silky smooth when I tried this MM. But after 2 months of using these different shampoos and conditioners, I don't have to wear hairspray or gel in my hair. My baby hairs are under control and the "fly always" are not everywhere. I like heavenly shampoo the best since it does smell slightly different. However, I think all the shampoos do the same job. I'm still getting used to the waxy feel but I like how I don't have to wash my hair daily. I can skip one day which is nice. My teen loves these products since it only takes a teaspoon of the conditioner to soften and detangle her long hair. Her wavy hair looks healthier and not frizzy. She tells me "that mud shampoo works ma!" Lol
