It really is large enough to cook for the whole family. my wife can throw five steaks on there and grill them all at the same time so nobody has to wait for their food. Keeps very good heat. doesn't heat up the whole house like the stove does. I mean they fried rice with chicken in it the other day. it will hold 10 cups of cooked rice. Fried the rice, eggs, chives All at the same time in the skillet. I usually have to use two woks and make two batches to cook everything. This was very fast. everyone got served at the same time. makes breakfast very easy. you can cook your bacon and all your eggs all in one device at the same time.
