These curtains are super cute!! My 6 year old loves them. I like them because they have a rubber -like backing that blocks not only the sun but also the heat coming in from the window. They help keep her room cool. Right outside her window is a bright street light that keeps her room quite lit. These curtains block that light very effectively. They also help hold down the outside noise. They don't block the noise but help muffle it removing echoing. I dont have a proper curtain rod so there is some light coming thru the sides and center where the two panels connect. Once i get the rods mounted and curtains hung back up the light around the edges will also be blocked. As for quality of the fabric and construction these curtains are well made. There isn't any warpage in the fabric or flaws in the stitching. Im very happy with them.
