Rich & clear sound, with car shaking bass
I upgraded my car speakers recently, & put these babies in on the back deck behind the back seats. HOLY COW!!! Even before I had them in & on, the quality of the build between these & what came out was tremendous. The build quality alone is just wonderful, the voice coils are a work of art, the size & strength of the magnets made me giddy, & the fit was perfect. I've had them in for a few weeks now, & the sound clarity they produce is mind blowing. The highs are are so crisp & clear, & the mids aren't buried or muddled. But the bass! Oh my Lord, the bass is is bottomless & shakes every mirror & kicks the seats. Loud is fun, & these guys can take everything you throw at them, but now I hear the clarity & separation I was missing at any & all volumes. Every car I own from here on will have to have Polk Audio speakers put in them. Once you go First Class... you can never go back to coach.
