Awesome idea and pretty good execution!

I have had an enclosed cargo trailer for over a decade and needed to do some long overdue maintenance to it. I found this at Northern Tool while looking for other trailer parts and decided to take a chance and just return it if I didn’t like it. It was easy to install and have loved it ever since! I just keep the trailer jack in the bed of my truck since I have a bed cover and it is quite convenient. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has a trailer and truck. Makes it easy to get in the bed of the truck without worrying about the tailgate getting messed up. I use my bed a LOT while hooked up to my work trailer. Wish I had this for the last almost 20 years I’ve been working out of a truck and trailer.

Just what I needed.

This works as expected. If you have a jack that is in the way of your tailgate, this is the product for you. It also adds a layer of security. When the trailer is hooked to the truck and there is no jack on the trailer, there's no way to remove it from the truck. Also, when not on the truck, I put my trailer on a jack stand and lock the jack inside the trailer. If they can't jack it up, they can't steel it.

Great idea!

I found this when searching for a replacement jack for my RV. The power jack that it came with just didn't seem to have enough power and finally failed by coming apart. I decided that my best option was to replace it with a good manual jack with the Jack-E-Up. Minimizes the cranks and I can now drop the tailgate. Works great!
