Not for combo skin

I have combination skin and unfortunately this one isn't working on either part -Oli forehead or dryer cheeks. It looks like it's juts sitting on top of my pores, emphasizing everything I wouldn't otherwise see. At the end of the day it's petty much gone too. A big no. I've tried it with expensive primers vs without - can't make it work.
